2023 NCAA DIII Football Championship: Bracket, Schedule, Results

The 2023 NCAA DIII Football Championship Selection took place on Sunday, November 12th at 5:00 PM ET. Watch the show above.

The championship field consists of 32 teams in a single-elimination tournament. Twenty-eight of the 32 spots are filled by teams that win their conference, earning an automatic bid. The remaining five places will be given to big teams.

The Amos Alonzo Stagg Bowl, National Championship, will be played on December 15, 2023 at Salem Stadium in Salem, Virginia.

North Central (IL) is the defending champion. The Cardinals have played in three consecutive Stagg Bowls (the DIII national championship game), winning two of them.

Here is the 2023 NCAA Division III Football Tournament schedule:

  • Opening: Saturday, 18.11
  • Second round: Saturday, 25.11
  • Quarter-finals: Saturday, December 2
  • Semi-finals: Saturday, December 9
  • Championship: Friday, 15.12
